About the artist
Corine 't Hart was born in the Netherlands, where she obtained a degree in Graphic and Typographic Design at the Royal Academy of Fine and Applied Arts in The Hague in 1991.
In 1995 she migrated to Sydney, Australia where she first worked as an illustrator, and later as a graphic designer for several companies. At present, she is a freelance graphic designer under the business name Sketches Plus.
After moving to the Sunshine Coast, the beauty of this area inspired her to start painting. Being used to creating graphic artwork according to strict briefs and guidelines, mostly using a computer, putting a brush to canvas is brand new to Corine, and gives a feeling of creative flow and freedom which she enjoys.
